Carol Lacombe joined Valor Venture’s São Paulo office as a Senior Analyst in 2019. Carol is focused on sourcing deals, evaluating investment opportunities and supporting Valor Venture’s community. During the six years between 2013 and 2019, Carol worked in two of the main Brazilian early stage Venture Capital funds, IndicatorCapital and Performa Investimentos. Prior to that she worked in a climate change consultancy and founded a NGO focused on social business. Carol received her B.A. in International Affairs from FAAP and her master’s in Finance and Economics from FGV.
Carol is passionate about topics related to health care and wellness, education and technologies focused on solving emerging markets’ dilemma. Carol likes painting, cycling, sailing and reading about innovation and history.
