Laura is the Head of Capital Formation at Valor Capital, globally responsible for investor relations, business development, and public relations. Laura has experience raising institutional capital across private equity, credit, secondaries, and co-invest strategies. She has also underwritten and placed equity and debt financing on a range of transactions, including leveraged loans and high yield financings. Prior to joining Valor in 2025, she was a Vice President at Veritas Capital in the Capital Formation and Capital Markets groups. Previously, Laura worked in Private Capital Advisory at Evercore, the Sponsors Group at Credit Suisse, and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes at The World Bank. 

Laura earned a BA in Middle Eastern and Latin American & Hemispheric Studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University. She also holds a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and an MBA from the Wharton School. She is a member of the New York State Bar. Laura lives with her husband and two daughters on the Upper East Side. In her free time she enjoys travel, ballet, pilates, and yoga.
